The modern Certified Midwife brings a whole new dimension to feminine care. Nurse midwives are mostly known for their role in the birthing experience however, nurse midwives are able to offer the same attention and well women gynecology care to women who are not pregnant. The CNM has the knowledge and clinical skills to perform routine gynecology services such as breast and pelvic exams with the latest Pap Test advances, as well as complete physical exams.

The nurse midwife forms relationships with physicians and other health care professionals in the community to provide the best in personalized and comprehensive patient care.

Nurse midwives are licensed by the State of New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners and are required to obtain a Certificate or Master's Degree from an advanced program in midwifery.
